Supper Club: Old World vs. New World Wine Tasting & Dinner
11th September 2012
The perception of most is that 'New World' wines are big, bold, fruit laden behemoths with little elegance, yet the truth is that in recent years the 'New World' has been producing wines with restraint and purity. In many cases it's impossible to tell them apart from their 'Old World' equivalents.
Can 'New World' Pinot Noir and Chardonnay really stand up to (and possibly outdo) far more expensive wines from the great vineyards of Burgundy? We'll also be tasting classic Bordeaux alongside some top South African wines. So, whether you're a connoisseur or just in it for fun, join us for an evening that will challenge those preconceptions while blind tasting 12 delicious wines and enjoying a mouth-watering four-course menu.
